I made this last year during my flower painting class last year at the Richmond Art Center. My teacher was Mrs. Annette.Goldberg.

This was my first flower at the first day of class. She passed around Zinnias and I was having mixed feelings. That is because I am no artist and I had never taken art classes based on drawing what you see before your eyes. This was a new beginning. Without flower making experience, with exceptions of cherry blossoms and simple basic flowers from books and images, this was my funky turnout. It gained confidence in me. I learnt that just envisioning what you see before you is a good idea.

I loved it!
